Info on Dietary Fiber:
Dietary fiber is usually fiber that is found in the peels of fruit and vegetables, for example. It provides little or no energy and is excreted by the body almost undigested, which is why it was even considered useless at times. This is where its name comes from: dietary fiber, as it was long assumed that it had no real function and was a burden on the digestive tract. However, science now knows about the beneficial effects of dietary fiber on digestion and the entire organism. Today, a diet rich in fiber is indispensable for humans and animals.

Dietary fiber is mainly found in plant-based foods - such as fruit and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds - and therefore has a positive effect on the acid-base balance. At the same time, it has been proven to have a positive influence on the composition of the microbiome by promoting the increase in beneficial bacteria. Dietary fiber has a significant effect on stool mass, consistency and frequency. They therefore play a role not only for the entire digestive system, but also for general well-being, the immune system and susceptibility to disease.

Composition:
Apple pomace, alfalfa green flour, pea fiber, carrot pomace, linseed cake, gm3 complex (complex of MOS = mannan oligosaccharides & beta-glucans from yeast cell walls), brewer's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), Jerusalem artichoke, diatomaceous earth, rapeseed oil, calcium carbonate.

Analytical constituents:
Crude protein 11.9%, crude fat 6.3%, crude fiber 27.3%, crude ash 7.5%, phosphorus 0.25%, calcium 1.16%, sodium 0.41%, potassium 1.19%, magnesium 0.16%.

Feeding recommendation per dog and day:
Dogs: 0,3 grams per kg body weight, maximum 15 g per day
Cats: 0,3 grams per kg body weight, maximum 4 g per day.

Application:
Mix the powder in a little lukewarm water and mix with the usual food.
Do not boil, otherwise active ingredients such as vitamins will be altered and their effect weakened.
Drinking is important - please always provide sufficient fresh drinking water.

Expert tip:
In acute cases of immunosuppressed animals, problems with protozoa, coccidia, etc., as well as chronic diseases and malabsorption, the dose can be increased by 50% over a period of 4-6 weeks as part of a treatment.

Storage:
Store at room temperature, not above 25°C and in a dry place. Remove with a clean, dry spoon and always reseal airtight after removal. Use opened containers within 6 months.
