DOGO Digestive®
Supports your pet in all stages of the digestive process.
It is recommended to administer DogoDigestive before main meals.

DOGO Digestive® has a new improved formulation - now it's part of the PARNUT category!

Nutrition is a fundamental aspect for every living being, modulating the diet in a balanced and varied way for your pet is the real secret of well-being and longevity, just as important is the correct digestion of ingested food (industrial or homemade); especially considering that the digestive phase in dogs and cats, as indeed in humans, is a highly complex process in which the organs must be perfectly coordinated and which requires several hours (on average between 24 and 36 for dogs and cats) for all these reasons Dogoteka has decided to formulate Dogo Digestive, an extremely innovative complementary feed, containing a series of active ingredients such as Mango, Magnolia, Anise, Gentian and Angelica archangelica which support and favor all stages of the delicate digestive process .

DogoDigestive contains active principles and carminative plants with digestive, anti spamodic, enzymatic and eupeptic action (the bitter principles favor gastric secretions).

MANGO (Mangifera indica L.)
Mango is indicated for those suffering from heaviness in the stomach because it contains some enzymes that promote digestion, especially proteins, of which (unusual characteristic for a fruit) it is particularly rich.
Mango has several qualities that make it excellent for digestive health. For example, it contains a group of digestive enzymes that can break down large food molecules so they can be easily absorbed. These enzymes can break down complex carbohydrates into sugars, such as glucose and maltose.

Mango fruits are natural sources of digestive enzymes such as protease and amylase, which help break down proteins and carbohydrates during digestion. These enzymes facilitate the digestion of nutrients and their absorption in the dog’s intestine, contributing to a better assimilation of food.

MAGNOLIA (Magnolia officinalis Rehder & Wilson)
Magnolia helps the digestive process, regulate gastrointestinal motility and rebalances the oral bacterial flora; it also helps the elimination of gases. Promotes the drainage of body fluids. It has antispasmodic action.

ANISE (Pimpinella anisum L.), GENTIAN (Gentiana lutea L.), ANGELICA (Angelica archangelica L.)
Anise, gentian and angelica are herbs known for their digestive and carminative properties, i.e. able to relieve gastrointestinal disorders such as flatulence, nausea and abdominal swelling. These herbs contain essential oils and active compounds that promote intestinal motility and bile secretion, contributing to better fat digestion and the reduction of intestinal inflammation.

ANISE (Pimpinella anisum L.)
Anise helps intestinal peristalsis and salivary secretion. Among the properties of anise is the digestive one, in fact the seeds, thanks to the anethole contained, counteract abdominal swelling, inhibit intestinal fermentation and flatulence by relaxing the smooth muscles of the intestine. It has a sedative and antispasmodic action against gaseous colic.

ANGELICA (Angelica archangelica L.) Angelica boasts digestive, tonic properties, it is a valid aid in case of difficult or slow digestion. Also useful in case of lack of appetite. It has a spasmolytic and eupeptic effect (said of any substance, above all bitter vegetables, which determines an increase in appetite, without causing other significant phenomena on the body).

GENTIAN (Gentiana lutea L.)
Gentian is used in various formulations to aid digestion, as it increases gastric motility and peptic hydrochloride secretion of the stomach, by direct action and by reflex mechanism (vagal stimulus).
Gentian is used to stimulate the appetite and to treat dyspeptic disorders, such as feelings of fullness and flatulence.
The gentian has proved to be very useful in the treatment of the aforementioned ailments, thanks to its high content of bitter substances. These substances, in fact, are capable of causing a stimulation of the taste receptors, the consequence of which consists in the increase in the secretion of saliva and in the increase in the secretion of gastric juices. All this, therefore, translates into an increase in appetite and an improvement in digestive processes and any dyspeptic disorders.
Furthermore, tonic and restorative properties are also attributed to the plant. Its anti-inflammatory, diuretic and protective power for the liver and digestive system is known.

In summary, the consumption of foods containing natural digestive enzymes and carminative herbs can benefit various stages of the digestive process in dogs, improving digestion and nutrient assimilation, and reducing gastrointestinal discomfort. However, it’s important to always consult your vet before making any significant changes to your dog’s diet.

BETAINE HCL
Betaine is a natural nutrient of the body, it intervenes together with other organs and helps to prevent coronary, muscular and associated diseases of the digestive system.
It supplies hydrochloric acid and is essential for the assimilation of vitamin B12, calcium and iron.
It collaborates in digestion by providing hydrochloric acid, necessary in the digestive process to break down proteins.
Avoid dehydration of cells by balancing the amount of water present. Collaborates in the transport of liquids throughout the body.

Heartburn, indigestion, bloating and reflux are often thought to be caused by excessive acid production. Instead, these symptoms are frequently connected to a lack of hydrochloric acid production in the stomach, the manifestations of which are identical to those of gastric hyperacidity.

Betaine HCL increases the levels of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, which is necessary for proper digestion and assimilation of food nutrients. Normal levels of hydrochloric acid are required for complete digestion of proteins and absorption of amino acids. It is also necessary for the extraction of vitamin B12 from foods. Betaine HCL therefore helps us restore acid levels in the stomach and maintain proper gastrointestinal function.
